What to Expect

Checking out a new congregation can be super intimidating! We've all been there. And it helps to have somewhat of an idea of what to expect, especially if you have children.

In the pages linked above or to the left, you can read all about our Shabbat day - our worship service, Torah study, Oneg lunch, and all the fun we enjoy together each week. It's a blast, and the biggest thing we can tell you is to come expecting to linger.

There's also a page about holidays at The Bridge. We know that some may not be interested in becoming integrated as a part of our community, but may just want to come celebrate the feasts with us - and that's okay too! On that page, you'll see a breakdown of the holidays and a bit of an idea of what to expect.

We are a community with many families, so there's a page about what to expect if you have children.

And finally, we are a liturgical community. Liturgical worship is making a comeback throughout the world as people (especially younger generations) are feeling drawn into a more rooted, traditional form of worship. The Jewish community has never given up liturgical worship, and as a Messianic Jewish community, we embrace liturgy as part of our worship. If you'd like to learn a bit more about this, there's a page there you'll enjoy reading.

We've tried to make our website fairly complete, but please feel free to email with any questions. We're happy to help you find your home at The Bridge!
