A Weekend to Get Away, Have Fun, and Be Together
Join The Bridge for a summer family retreat at beautiful Camp Cascade in Donnelly, Idaho, near the shores of Lake Cascade! This is a chance to step away from the normal routine, spend some time outdoors, connect with friends and family, and simply enjoy being together. Whether you’re bringing kids, teens, grandparents, or coming on your own, there’s something for everyone.
So Many Ways to Have Fun
There will be lots of games, activities, and entertainment throughout the weekend. Camp Cascade has a large grassy field for group activities and water games, a sport court, archery, game tables, and a huge outdoor fire pit. And, of course, there’s Lake Cascade! The camp has access to the shoreline with kayaks and paddle boards for some adventure. And we will also take a day trip to the nearby swimming beach at Boulder Creek for more water play. There will be plenty of organized activities, but also plenty of unstructured time to relax, visit, play games, read a book, take a walk, or just sit around and enjoy the beautiful Idaho scenery.
Leave the Cooking to Someone Else!
And one of the best parts of a true retreat: you don’t have to cook all weekend! All of your meals are included, so leave the grocery shopping, meal planning, cooking, and dishes at home. Just show up, eat well, and enjoy the weekend.
A Place for Everyone
Camp Cascade offers a variety of lodging options so you can choose what works best for your family or group:
- Basic cabins that accommodate families or groups of individuals (sleep groups of 6 or 13)
- Premium cabins that sleep up to six and include a private bathroom with a shower
- RV sites with water and power hookups
- Tent camping for those who prefer to sleep under the stars
The camp also has a bath house with showers, sinks, and restrooms for guests using the shared facilities.
Gather Together
We’ll have a comfortable central meeting space in the camp lodge for our group gatherings, meals, and retreat activities. The lodge also includes game tables, restrooms, and a cozy fireplace. And when the sun goes down, we’ll have the perfect setting for gathering around the camp’s enormous fire pit, surrounded by trees and room for everyone to sit together.
