Together Forever | One-Day Marriage Seminar

A strong marriage doesn’t happen by chance. It is built on purpose.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2026

3:00 PM – 8:30 PM

WITH A BREAK FOR DINNER
HOSTED BY THE BRIDGE MESSIANIC FELLOWSHIP
OPEN TO EVERYONE
TAUGHT BY RABBI HYLAN AND RITA SLOBODKIN

About Hylan and Rita:

Hylan was raised in a conservative Jewish home in Los Angeles, going to Israeli summer camps, celebrating the Jewish holidays, with a bar mitzvah at thirteen. Rita was orthodox, a child of Holocaust survivors, keeping kosher and going to synagogue on Shabbat. They met in 1967 and married in 1968. Hylan and Rita met their Messiah at the same time in Switzerland on Thanksgiving night 1970. They lived in Israel from 1971-1972 and studied Hebrew on a kibbutz.

Hylan was licensed into ministry in 1978 and ordained in 1980. He was the associate pastor of two churches in California and Arizona before being called to Beit Tikvah Messianic Congregation in August 1996 to be the senior rabbi. Rita led the women’s and children’s ministries. Though they retired in 2024 after 45 years of ministry, their passion is to share their faith with Jewish people and to help Christians understand their Jewish roots. Hylan and Rita have three married children and nine wonderful grandchildren. They love each other, and they still like each other.
